This elegant, light to medium-bodied Chardonnay presents aromatics of slight mineral, apple, and pear leading to a balanced palate of pineapple and coconut, closing with a seductive, creamy vanilla finish.

Smooth, polished and silky in texture, with pretty pineapple, pear and spice flavors settling gently against refreshing wisps of acidity that make themselves felt as the finish persists. Drink now through 2012. 6,000 cases made.

Columbia Crest, Washington state’s premier producer of value wines, has introduced a fourth tier into its lineup. Dubbed H3, the wines focus on fruit from the Horse Heaven Hills AVA. The grapes have optimal acid, and the flavors are ripe but firm. The fruit is a bit lean, but tangy, and there is an underlying minerality that adds persistence.

Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.
