Appearance: Vibrant, medium intense ruby red color. Aroma: Decadent aromas of ripe fruit and a floral bouquet that is integrated with nuances of cedar and toasty oak. Palate: Elegant and complex; the wine is vibrant and expressive with medium body and hints of vanilla from the oak aging. Flavors of cherries, currants, coconut and fresh raspberries capture the palate leading to a long, lingering finish.

Good and meaty stuff, with bold aromas that feature leather, berry and char. Seems saturated and ripe, and gets better the more air it sees. Flavorwise, we’re talking about plum, blackberry and a little vanilla. Complete on the finish, with all angles covered. Not complicated or complex; good value.
